The SYDNEY SCIENCE FICTION FILM FESTIVAL is a not-for-profit endeavour that relies on the generosity of its patrons and the support of the global science-fiction community to succeed in its mission - to champion diverse speculative storytelling from our planet’s many cultures.

We do not seek funding from government bodies or corporate entities, as it is crucial to our goals to remain a truly independent platform
where filmmakers can be assured that their works can be screened with integrity.

100% of donated funds are spent on expanding the goals of the festival and broadening the reach of speculative storytellers around the world.
