(Director Chris Jones; UK/International, 111mins)

What would you do if you knew that you only had two hours to live? Filmmakers and screenwriters from around the world were presented with this existential conundrum, resulting in this collection of individual visions that have been edited together to create The Impact. This fascinating tapestry of interwoven stories from diverse global voices is at times moving and profound, hilarious and irreverent. A multicultural reflection of pop culture’s vision of the apocalypse, it offers a haunting reflection of where we may be headed as a species. Overseen by Chris Jones, Creative Director of the London Screenwriters Festival, The Impact was made over 8 years with thousands of artists co-ordinating their talent to create a truly unique film experience.
